IT STARTED WITH A DREAM.

De’s Cuisine started with a simple premise. We strive to bring African and Caribbean flavorful foods to your dining experience in a way that is unique, attention-grabbing, and appealing to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, or background.

With De’s Cuisine, we want to bring cultural products that are unique, diverse, and flavor-packed, and deliver a culinary experience that is all-natural, nutrient-rich, and is something you can feel good about.

OUR STORY

WHO’S DE?

Our grandmothers and mothers have always been the heartbeat of our families — the steady hands and open hearts that hold generations together. Around their kitchen tables, more than meals are prepared. Stories are shared. Lessons are taught. Love is served generously, plate after plate.

In the Klao (Kru & Grebo) tribes of Liberia, West Africa, mothers are affectionately called “Á Dee.” It is a name spoken with reverence — a tribute to women whose care nurtures both body and soul. An Ah Dee does not just cook; she infuses warmth, wisdom, and devotion into every dish. Her cooking is an expression of love — full of flavor, grounded in tradition, and seasoned with sacrifice.

Inspired by this legacy, our purpose extends beyond just serving delicious food. We exist to recreate that sacred space — where meals bring people together, where laughter fills the room, and where community is strengthened one gathering at a time.

From our local farmers who dedicate themselves to their land, to our producers and employees who take pride in crafting each product, we are united by a shared mission: to honor the anchors that keep families strong and communities connected.

One meal at a time, we celebrate the spirit of Á Dee — the love that feeds us, sustains us, and brings us home.
